Andrew Garfield has revealed that he went celibate and fastwd for several months to prepare for his new role aa a Jesuit priest in 2016 film "Silence"
The Spiderman star said he studied Catholicism with a Jesuit preist, went on 31 days Spiritual retreat and gave up sex and food before filming the Movie.
You end up in a pretty deep space, Garfield said it's a transformation process.
I was celibate for six months.... And fasting alot, he added i had some pretty wild trippy experience from starving myself of sex and food for that period of time.
